Interested in what is happening on the farm? Check out Our Farm Blog
Our farm began in 1995, when we purchased 25 acres of woodland and fields in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. We didn't set out to become shepherds. Yet one ewe at a time, we fell in love with sheep and farming both.
To operate a family farm each member must contribute some time and energy. Chris's efforts are focused on sheep production, lambing, grazing, and fencing. Julia assists with farm chores, but also organizes marketing and sales efforts. Amanda is responsible for helping with the working dogs - training, feeding, excercise; Dylan offers an extra hand in the garden, hauling hay, feeding chickens, and setting up temporary fencing. Still, when there is work to be done the job belongs to all of us. As does the reward.
